F ollowing up on the critically acclaimed and Michelin-starred restaurant Laut, chef Salil Mehta introduces Laut Singapura in Gramercy.

Focusing on Singaporean food, Laut Singapura showcases the vibrant flavors and preparations of several Asian countries, including Malaysia, China, Indonesia, and Thailand. The menu reflects dishes what one would find among Singaporean street hawkers in an elevated space using regionally authentic spices and the freshest ingredients.

Laut, in Bahasa Melayu (Malay Language), translates to Sea. These straits or seas off of the coast of Singapore play a crucial role in the region’s history, navigating traders and travelers from all over the world.
